The optional H8186-CB Modbus Communications Card tranforms a stand-alone H8100 Series Energy Meter into a BACnet device.

Field installation of the H8186-CB is simple. It works with 2- and 4-wire Modbus networks. Just set the onboard switches for parity, baud rate and wiring, plug the card into the meter, power it up and check the status LEDs to verify connection.

All available Energy Meter data can be transmitted to the host system for recording and analysis.
